I know $1600 is not a whole lot of money, but losing $1600 of revenue each month adds up quickly. It would be hard to just move on when you are tipping the scale and climbing upward. That could very well be an employees salary each month. gavish... I had my account banned once before for invalid clicks, probably about a year ago. I didn't know why or how, but I sent them an email similar to yours and my account was re-instated. It took about 2 weeks or more to get re-instated. Since then, I have used and relied on Adsense or any other third-party platform lightly. So definitely take heed to what "softgroups" is trying to tell you. It's a wake up call! I would get your account back, but would concentrate and focus on ways to turn your traffic into money by being more reliant on yourself and company as well as diversify your assets.
It sucks everytime i read one of these threads because i live in fear of "the email" coming to me out of the blue.. a few weeks ago the Adsense marketing dept. interviewed me about the success of my site (pats self on back), how i used AdSense, etc. at the end of the interview they asked if i had any questions or comments, and i brought up the issue of these non-human, "auto bans". The Google guy told me that they take every banning very seriously, and they never press the ban-button without being pretty sure that something fishy was going on.. he also mentioned that many (very many) people that get banned have multiple sites.. several of them being very upstanding sites, but ONE of them a 'bad' or spammy site, etc.. of course since they dont give out any info, you never know which site they target.. anyway, if you've done nothing wrong, offer to provide your logs, etc, hopefully you will be reinstated.. if not, dont sweat it - sign up for Yahoo, CJ, adbright, MSN, and move on.. Lots of people make way better money with these other companies than with AdSense..
