Hey guys, I have a website that receives over 3million pageviews and 150,000 unique visitors a month, but I know I can get more traffic than that because none of my internal pages seem to be spidered by Google! Here's a url to one of my typical internal pages: http://tinyurl.com/65lmrf The only page that seems to get spidered is the homepage as you can see by the PR rank of 4. Does anyone have any tips on how I can get my internal pages listed in Google and other search engines? Thanks! P.S> Sorry posted this same post in a different category, but this seems to be the correct one.
You actually have 19,000+ pages indexed in google (do a site search). This means that they have certainly been spidered in the past. Cache dates are reasonably random - but if you look at many of the individual image pages they have been cached (thus spidered) as late as 2nd of April. I'm not sure why individual pages don't have page-rank - but a few possibilities are: 1. Page weight from the homepage is being fragmented into too many directions 2. There seemed to be something weird with a few of the scripts (ads, paypal, analytics etc) on each page. I tried a number of category pages and wasn't able to fully load the page (it's still trying to connect to paypal after leaving it hanging for five minutes) Dylan
