If I could get down the right ad placement and stuff like that, I would earn a LOT more then I am making. Last month I made $760 but I just need to get more clicks and higher CTR
I placed my two ads in homepage, and three ads in the posts-one is below the title and two are in same horizontal line like table. Isn't it suitable format?
of course content is the king. Many people give concentration on the images and design but if there no content the less value of this blog.
test, test and test some more if you are getting steady impressions then testing is the only way to get improvements
Try new position to place your adsense from time to time and learn which one is better since you already have a decent impression already!
One question.....if my blogger still using blogspot domain....it's still can't get the max earning from adsense..it's true?...
The chi city sports site has some great information about chicago sports and I'm sure a lot of people like it but in order to get a high CTR you need visitors that are interested in buying something or visiting another site for some reason. I see some adsense ads for tickets to sporting events in Chicago which are relevant but the people on your site may not be thinking specifically of buying tickets while they are on your site. They are probably on your site to read about sports and comment on sports on the forum but when they decide to go to a game they might immediately just think of stub hub or some other ticket site. If it was me I would put an informational page on the sports sites with a seating chart of the stadiums in Chicago that shows where all the different seats are and write a little bit about attending sporting events in Chicago, like where to park, where to get a beer before or after the game, etc. Then once people know that section is on your site they may actually go to your site when they are thinking about going to a game, and assuming you are getting relevant ads on that section of the site they will be more likely to click on them. That is one example, but the point is to try to make the site a good place for people to get information when they are ready to buy
