I get $0.01 for no clicks but don't understand how do I get it

    Sometimes I find out that I have earned $0.01 for no clicks on a particular channel but don't really understand how I am getting it.

    Is it for impressions? But does google adsense pay for CPM?

    Pls explain coz I need to learn everything about adsense to better understand and utilize it. Thanks.

    I have experienced the same thing for more than a couple of times with my adsense as well. Adsense though isn't my biggest earner, so is that sorta 'heads up' from google? for the low earners? :)

    Google cannot be generous enough, given the current financial situations.

    Yes, it is from impression, adsense is paying CPM for the image ads
    People normally ignore it because the amount is too small

    its a share from a CPM based ads,..your page might have dispalyed a CPM ads. and that is your share..

    for every 1,000 impression Google Adsense pays its publisher $0.01 and sometimes higher.. One time I received $0.03 and most of the times $0.01

    Ah, so I guessed it right, its the cpm share. Thanks all for your help.

    Since the amount is so low and there is nothing to do to make the amount more from next I won't even think about it.

    They are carried forward.. to make it short just look at your overall impressions from the beginning..

    some advertisers gives money for impression not click. After 1000 impression google get its money then pays website owners.
