they have to do it.. why do you need xp whenever you can use it in 7? 7 is the amendment from all the previos micrsoft's os
yeah! some experts says that windows 7 is more better now that vista and more stable that windows xp.
agreed , Windows 7 is very good , even i have it in my new lappy , it works like a charm , virtual xp is also gr8.
I haven't installed it yet but my friend do told about it new features. The screen seems to be completely black. The problem is that it needs huge RAM for working properly.
I skipped Vista and I just upgraded to Windows 7 from XP. I have 2 gigs of RAM and a 64 bit processor, so the result was great. Windows 7 moves faster than XP used to, some of the games seems to work better and the only bug I could find is with Adobe Reader, I have to use another pdf reader.
You can try for requirements: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/system-requirements.aspx It says 1gb of ram. Obviously the more the better. Some people claim it runs smooth with 1gb and virt memory. Don't know what os you have right now, but it does take a lot more space than xp. Not that most hd's don't have plenty to spare. But it's a slight pain to backup so much space all the time.
yes windows 7 is great and beter than xp and vista but but it required experince because it has many options
I have Win 7 and i have a shit load of programs. Every program that i have used in XP and Vista works with Win 7. - Prilep
We have been using 7 for a month now and have not had any issues. And like prilep said most xp software works with 7.
I had very bad experience because some of my major operations drivers not supported in Windows 7 thats why i reverted back to Win XP!
If Microsoft didn't get into such a darn hurry about everything, we never would have had to suffer through epic fails like Windows ME/Vista. As it is now, our systems here are running XP/Windows and Ubuntu/Linux and I'm not seeing a step forward toward Windows 7 anytime soon. If anything, Mac/Ubuntu will be our future operating systems of choice.
