    Link exchange penalizes websites. You do not know what your partner may be doing on his site and linking to a bad neighbour can result in SE ranking drop.

    i have a question.
    i've put some links to my travel site.
    but it appeared as a text not as a link that takes you to the home page.
    so does this kind of post give any benefit to my SEO, should i continue spending time and doing it.
    or it is useless????

    well link building a long process... i you want good organic links then it will take a while. I'm mean buying links is definately a good thing but you have to spend more...

    yeah i got a couple good backlinks for some of my site... of course paying for text links is much better but it's a good free program.
