I tried this one: www.linksdealing.com It give me some results on a gaming website. I get some keyword search from Yahoo. But the bad thing with this is you have no control, which links you want to keep and which to remove. And it begin to display poker, pharmacy and a lot of shit links on a gaming website.

using sites like them could ban you from search engines. Perhaps you should try blog spamming also?

Sorry Guru but recip links just don't cut it any more. I know some will claim they get results, but if you really know the industy, you know the search engines are working hard not to give any value to recip links or blatently purchased links like you are selling. Everyone needs to remember to keep your links relevant and trustworthy.

The problem with sites like this (and link vault / coop) is that people like to use spammy sites to try and leverage some links to their good sites.

yeah it's pretty much give your free links to your site... you add a directory on your site and have one link to it... then people will add your site on theirs.

I doubt you'll get any results for Google, which is "the target". In Yahoo or MSN - maybe. But you probably won't get better in Google or it will even ban your site.

I disagree. Quality reciprocal links can be (and should be) relevant and trustworthy. They may not be as valuable as one-way links, but they certainly do help. I also receive a nice amount of targetted traffic from my link partners. It may only be a portion of my link building strategy, but I still participate in it. I have also acquired some partnerships with other sites that originally started as a link exchange. Search engines are working hard not to give value to sites with huge directories of unrelated links. However, if you link exchanges are on-topic and are quality sites, they will benefit your site.
