I found a forum that encourages visitors to click ads.

Should I report it to google?
Should I not?
What's your opinion? What you would do?

I know loads of sites which ask people to click their google ads. Its annoying. You could try reporting it, but Im not sure what use it will be.

 

It depends what they say.

I believe you are allowed to let people know that sponsors support your website and people should check them out.

but your not allowed to make someone click something, deceive them or tell people to click just to click on them

 

how exactly do they encourage clicking?

 

"Support this site" and at the right side are the ads

 

Who the heck cares? Look at all the time you wasted today worrying about somebody else's AdSense ads!?? I don't understand what makes it so important to anyone.

If you don't like it so much, don't go back to that site. Its like a bunch of kids crying to mommy everytime they see anything out of place.

1 method : report to google with screenshot
2 method : use adblock (firefox) to block their ads so u can go back there to get something u want and without let them get page impression and click
3 method : call all of your friend to click THEIR ADS AND CAUSE THEM BANNED BY GOOGLE~ ^_^

 

Seriously - stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do nothing, too many people are worried about other sites that may or may not break the TOS. Worry about your own site and spend your time making it better.

I think that Google will catch them in good time. If they are telling to click, the clicks will look not natural and Google will discover this and ban them so I would not worry.

 

You should tell the owner of the forum.
Maybe they are new to AdSense and do not realize they are doing anything wrong.

"Support this site" I think is a fair ask. Problem is that google are so "anal" that it could warrant this person being banned if they are running adsense ads. What do you think? If you are that interested in that forums affairs, why don't you email the forums owners first and let them know that they could get banned before letting google know? I think that might show a better person. God knows, once your banned from google, it's forever.

 

Actually you are not even allowed to say anything like that..Adsense TOS are pretty clear.

I would msg the MODs on the site and say they are breaking Adsense TOS and might get their Adsense a/c closed or lose their current Adsense earnings..

No need to be the fun police and report them to Google yet.

You guys are all idiots. Millions of sites say "Support this site" that isn't telling people to click or anything. Either you all are foreign, or you all are incredibly young and stupid and/or haven't read Google's TOS. Wow, I honestly can't believe I'm writing this.
