No, I'm saying why did you make a thread about asking for feedback on a computer script in a MARKETING forum? That's what confused me.

that was an accident, I usually browse this section, most of my threads are in this section, so i posted because of habit.

The benefit that I can see from this script within the MMO niche is that
if you had a big list, with abit of presell in your email copy, send them to this kinda of script, design a decision tree with the solution as an affiliate link.
Obviously it would only work for anyone that is interested in a solution for a problem.

woooahhh! calm down people.... let there be peace in this world.. hehehe

Anyways, my opinion is that, it is not as useful as you think it may seem... unless... you add more questions or add more options to select from, your system is more into forcing people to simply answer what you dictate, take a look at yahoo answers, someone posts a question, and a lot of people responds... this makes their system effective because of the randomness of people's responses.

If you are into marketing something, I suggest that you kinda do it the way yahoo answers does it and, insert your affiliate links on the final "accepted answer", in your system, no matter how I repeat the process, I end up getting the same response, so why would I use it again and again?

Also, at the very end of your script, when you see "Your Solution", try to do an if else statement, if it is already a solution, why would you still post the sumbit and radio select option? you should put your answer in the middle then put a button below it saying "Repeat Process" or something to that effect.

Again no offense, it simply looks like a form posting to itself, try to add more variations to it, randomize responses, or do it like yahoo answers and get responses from other people, then feed your link within their responses.

    Just my 2 cents

Thank you for you detailed reply.
That was all I can manage, Im not a PHP developer. BTW the script loads a CSV file into an array and basically different lines have different questions.

The reason for forcing them to answer a question is because the whole purpose of the system is to have knowledge (programmed knowledge) to give and it can only do that based on what the CSV file holds.

About still having the submit button and radio button, my php skills are limited which is why they are still there.

I would like to add more options, possible even 3 possible answers but sometimes only 2 options are needed and I didnt know how to make it display only 2 hence the design.

I agree it looks basic on the outside.
Imagine you're an expert of a certain field and someone had interest in it. Would you not dictate the questions and the answers? Essentially this is what Im trying to achieve.

So you dont think my computer survey would not work for someone that has difficulty choosing a computer , especially a noob ? Imagine they don;t know squat about computer but the basics, I think this script would be enough to help. Whether the user goes to the end is another issue.

Again thanks for reply and I will include some of your points in my dissertation.

This is exactly what I am referring to as "variation", if you can vary things, then it should be fine. It will depend on what purpose you have on this system... sometimes, you see useless things on the internet which actually works... I am not saying your system is useless, all I am saying is that there are stuffs found on the net that might be usesless some people but when presented properly, they make a difference... yours may have that "difference"...

Thank you for you reply. yes i agree I need more options and variations...just that this is way beyond my programming ability.
