I find XP and Vista the same? Do you?

    Exactly. Now, I looked up the dates specifically as I said everything in my previous post from memory and the "development reset" started in late 2004, but Microsoft didn't have any builds to show for it until early-mid 2005. So, development time was more from 1.5 - 2 years really.

    Now: XP vs. Vista

    They're all pretty much the same.

    All Microsoft Operating Systems have/had glitches when they first came about. Apple even has a few bugs on the new Leopard OS.
    I run Vista on 2 of my computers XP on another and OSX on my iMac. Vista takes a little getting used to, (More so than switching from a PC to a Mac) but if you want to continue working on PCs, you do not have many choices but to eventually upgrade. Then in a few years Microsoft will introduce another OS, then a few years after that, they'll announce the release of another OS, and so on.

    That's how Bill makes his money. :cool:

    Not to worry though, Vista will be perfect just about the time Microsoft releases the next OS.

    Wrong Xp was based on 2000 but vista was made from scratch with no dos background, thats why alot of your programs dnt work
