    Hi

I'm currently promoting an affiliate's website through PPC, but it is slow with impressions and clicks, I'm working on that but it doesn't take a lot of work and it's automatic, in the background.

I also a site with the affiliate links on. But the site is also automatic.

I'm just refreshing pages and doing nothing - what should I do to be more productive? I've tried backlinking my site so that it builds up traffic using freetrafficsystem but I've submitted already about 5 articles and after a week I still have ZERO backlinks so lost motivation.

    Argh, what can I do?

    EDIT
I want to mainly market my affiliate link... but I guess marketing the site would be indirectly helpful and productive. Ideas for someone like me who hasn't got vast SEO knowledge?

Well, one thing you could do is keep writing articles and creating back links (takes time to actually get the back link) because eventually you will look back and love your past self... :)

Ha yes, I wouldn't mind doing that but I would prefer to use a site like freetrafficsystem, though I don't know if it's working since I have zero backlinks right now?

Yeah, I'm not sure about that site, but I assume that is sort of an auto thing what you start it as well. So just as an answer to your "time" question would be writing very original articles manually and putting links in them to your site. There is nothing better than a hand written article that people will actually want to read. That is high quality traffic and you get the high quality back link.

Thanks, but where do I submit those articles? I'd rather submit them using freetrafficsystem or a system like that to get the most out of my articles, instead of submitting to one place and only getting one or two backlinks.

Building good backlinks is always a step in the right direction. Article marketing, press releases, forum profile backlinks, ect. are tried and true methods.
If your not sure where to start, there are a multitude of outsourcing companies out there that can help point you in the right direction by helping you with your articles and submitting them to places for you :) Good luck!

Why don't you start your own blog about the niche you are in? It might be better as you establish your own name. If you don't invest that small amount into running a website, it would be easier to fail.

Do consistently like adding content in your website, bookmark everyday, create backlinks sveryday, create forum backlinks evryday etc.. So try to do consistentlly daily.. Just doing few days and sit back will get nothing.. (may be a little traffic for few days). If you think that you cant do them, better outosurce it..

maybe you are not choosing your PPC keywords correctly. Maybe consider choosing keywords that are alternatives to your product

I tell this to everyone who is trying to promote something.. there is no single way to make money

If you feel like you are wasting time.. you probably are.. Write down a list of known ways to create traffic and then execute.

Why don't you try to make another site?
What you reached is a goal for me. I do sites that are automatically so that I can move on to other business or do ... what I want to do.
