Their refund system sucks. Every time I have been scammed I haven't had any luck.

I want my money!! I also hate scammers on DP, they can burn in hell. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have lost so much money. I f***ing hate pp and scammers blaaaah.

What were you buying/selling? PayPal doesn't offer protection on non tangible goods.

Coding service here at DP. Thats not the point though. I won the case because the buy didn't respond after like 20 days. He knew what he was doing, thats why he sold alot of services all at once and never came back here and sent all the money to who knowes where, and now has $0.00 in his paypal so no1 gets their money back.

Honestly, in my opinion, that was an error on your part. You should've been sensible enough to ask for past clients/customers or thought of ways verifying they were not going to scam you.

I wish more people would use alternative processors like moneybookers.

Thats really sad. I feel like killing these bl**dy scammers but can't do anything. I hate paypal as well but thats not the reason in my case. In my case these stupid chargebacks work very well and they simply say that the payment was made by and unauthorized person. It sucks.

Obviously you didn't if you ask me, so its not really an assumption.

    I mean, read your post:

You said "I wouldn't have lost so much money." It was obvious you spent way too much and never learned your lesson from the previous times you sent money.

As I recommended, try researching the person more in-depth next time, trust me, if they want your business bad enough, they'll go along with everything. If they get impatient, then they'll most likely scam you. I'd say to always ask them for: 1. Past clients (emails, phone and names), 2. Sample work (ask them to provide sample work), 3. Phone number and address to contact them, as well as email, 4. Company (or freelance) website

Just my .02 cents, take it or leave it...

Well I think he knew what he was doing, and probably has another account. The one I sent to wasn't verfied, but it had 30+ trades, so I thought it would be legit, but meh.

Paypal's attitude towards dealing with disputes has finally pushed me into trying google checkout. First transaction last night and it went well I think, only I did not quite understand where the money has gone. Doesn't show me a balance of any kind, and I am not yet too sure how "Payouts" work. Guess I'll have to read the complete guidebook to get a better idea about how it works.

I have problems with PayPal for many times. I hate it too, and never use it anymore.
