This Monday I met with an Road Accident. I was travelling in a Bike along with one of my Friend. I was sitting behind and he was driving. We are just about to reach our destination in Gurgaon (a city nearby Delhi), it started raining. There were traffic cones placed in middle of the road seperating 2 wheelers and four wheelers lane. Suddenly the bike slipped and it hit one of the cone and simultaneously others as my friends lost balance. We fell along with the bike on the ground. I suffered bad injuries in my hand and at knee. Some local guys helped us in standing up on our toes. We rushed to the hospital and fortunately didn't had any fracture. My friend just escaped with a minor injury on her leg, though i am still under treatment and recovering slowely. Just wannted to say guys that always drive with a helmet. I almost had a second life and if i was there in the bike without helmet i wouldn't have been writing here by now. One should never comprise with helmet and that too of good quality.
Another thing to add is that never ever speed especially when it is raining and when the road is wet. Consider yourself lucky there mate.
Thank God that you and your friend have escaped with minor injuries. We think about driving carefully only we meet with minor accidents. Till such time we drive recklessly.
