Hey people, I do not earn any money with my website . It is around 20 days old. It has earned till now only 2.5$ .Although it gets good traffic.It is an SEO website and I am promoting it.Is there any way I could make some money like 5$ a day with adsense in these starting days? Adsense is alot better than others. Trying using text based ads rather than using image based ads, for many people text based ads work better.
What is your notion of "good traffic"? I have a site with over 2K page viewed a day and it earns less than that.
Increase! traffic your site plus do some link exchanges use the links into signatures! i hope some traffic can be generated from it

hi there, try to change the size of your adsense coz before it happens to me and now i earn a lot coz i change the size.
1. Change the size of your ad. the 460 wide banner screams it is an ad. 2. Change it to text only ads. Image ads won't work good in your niche. 3. Your site is about SEO. If you really know SEO you must know that it takes more than just 20 days for real traffic to come. Keep working on your site to iomprove ranking and increasing traffic.
Use large rectangler, wide skyscraper blend ads in ur page, use text ads do some seo place ads as high as u can, so visitors will see ads first and if he will like then he will leave click. Try different ad formats, borderless and vorder ads, different color scheme, keywords changing
What traffic do you get At least 500/day ? Olso SEO / IT / Technology sites don't have great CTR keap that in mind
The main question is: how much traffic do you have? If it´s more than +/- 200uniques/day you´re having problems in you CTR if it´s less than that then you should get more traffic. It really depends on how much traffic you have. Like w3master said, SEO/IT/etc dont usually have a high CTR, so what you need is to boost your traffic. PS: boost your traffic naturally DO NOT BUY traffic or you´ll be banned.
You are using Adsense link units, not ad units. Link units are small, hard to notice, and don't pay as well as ad units. Try using ad units in large sizes. SEO is not a great topic with which to make money with Adsense. SEO-interested visitors are not typically heavy ad clickers. And blogs usually don't well with Adsense. So you have a number of things working against you. However, with lots of work to get traffic, restructure your ad formats and placement, and structuring your content so that you get relevant ads, you may do OK, but it's going to take more than 20 days.
Patience my friend. Making money, from Adsense or other program, doesn't happen overnight. You're site is a whopping 20 days old (which is still brand new), so it's going to take some time. Spice up your site a little bit, so it doesn't look like everyone else's Wordpress themed blog. Focus on good content and do some site optimization. You'll get more targeted visitors this way who will more likely convert to clicks. Good luck.
