But I did SOMETHING right. Awhile back I had a horrible time trying to submit to directories for people. It all went to hell. But I musta did something right when I did it. The last 2 weeks I've gotten actual MAIL (snail mail) from places like yellowpages, and credit card offers for my new 'business' (which was the website I was trying to promote). I was like what the hell? I got asked if i was SURE i wanted to submit to yellowpages, and i got a few credit card offers (good credit offers I might add).
Credit card spam means you've done something right? Wow...I must be really good then, I get 3-4 every day... Just because you got a credit card offer doesn't mean it's a valid one. Most of those are fishing mails that CC companies send out. If you actually fall for one of their offers, you don't get the $100,000 limits that are promised in the letters, rather they put you though their standard application process and tell you how much you are entitled to after a while.
Well it was from my bank actually. and that still doesnt explain the yellowpages. nonetheless the fact is apparently now I am registered as a 'business'
I don't understand what you mean by you don't know what you've done. You must know since they are emailing you, unless, it's spam from people who stole your email off other sites.
Congratulations on your business getting listed and being recognized as a "real business". I know this must be exciting and encouraging for you. All The Best! sage
Just delete them, they're spam.. simply put. I get crap like this every day stating "Hello are you the owner of cash gators, you've qualified to win 70 trillion dollars just click this button and enter your personal information and bank account so we can steal your.. I mean (cough) I'm sorry.. transfer your funds." Trust me on this one, just delete the e-mails.
I dont thin you read when I said 'real' mail as in snail mail. not emails. and I dont think yellowpages is spam. either way, all the best
