I this legit? I find the sub-domain name rather disturbing. If a link farm can join, what kind of wieght are they throwing around?
mediaplex.com is a tracking system for many affiliate programs (eBay in this case). AdFarm is not the same thing as LinkFarm (not sure where you got that). Mediaplex is an ad delivery/tracking company (not a link farm). You can find info on them here: http://www.mediaplex.com/
Adfarm, linkfarm, sounds the same to me. That's why I asked. I clicked it out of curiousity to see if it was a FREEBS - Free Book Store. I would not have noticed the redirect had the page not taken like 30-40 seconds to load. No big deal, just a question. However I think I may have made a boo-boo. I set up referal links to the ad network and tested them. I was cookied apparently. I then forgot and signed up another of my domains and got referal weight. I'm thinking that's not allowed? Anyway, if it's not, please fix it for me. I'm trying to consolidate that site to my main account and it shows as zero weight when it's actually pretty good weight. Is it that I can't have referal and consolidate at the same time? Please advise and thank you.
You have to wait up to an hour for consolidation weight to be moved internally (there is a process that updates it hourly).
