    pls i need help about traffic. can i use twitter.com and facebook.com to promote my google adsense blog to the world?. will google shut down my account if i do?

    I think No. traffic from social bookmarking sites does not convert good for Advertiser point of view!

    Yes We can use social bookmarking sites to get traffic, at the end content only bring good revenue.

    It's okay to promote your website/blog by any means necessary. However, you cannot openly promote the clicking of your ads. By all means let the 'world' know about your site, just comply by the AdSense TOS and you'll be fine.

    It is very hard to get banned by google.

    You really have to be doing some illegal stuff for that to happen, so I bet...

    Unless you are dishonest and unethical, this will not happen to you.

    It is not hard to get banned from Google, it's easy. All you have to do is violate their Terms of Service in any way, and bam you're gone.

    Examples of how to get banned easily:

    1) Putting Ads too close to images
    2) Changing ad size to excluse the 'ads by google'
    3) Blatantly asking for clicks
    4) Displaying ads under text that reads anything other than 'sponsor/ads/etc'
    5) Clicking your own ads, having your friends/coworkers/others click your ads. Don't be stupid, google knows when the same IP is continually clicking on ads.

    The list goes on and on. Best bet is to play safe

    Social networking websites are encouraged to be used for website promotion. Certainly facebook and twitter is your bet for this. Just avoid doing Black Hat SEO techniques and you're safe from being banned.
