    I have a simple page www.midlifetravel.com which is displays fine in FF and has no CSS errors using the w3c tool. But in IE 6 and 7 I am getting the main body text showing at the bottom of the page rather than in the middle panel. I dont even know where to start - I am using a standard Dreamweaver template and the rest of the site is OK Help please!

    Try setting an overflow:hidden; for your content div, so anything that goes beyond the dimensions is hidden and that doesn't cause it to go to break like it does in IE. Either that or IE is fuxing up with the percentage width calculations.

    Try removing the padding from #headlines and using margins for the elements inside.

    These are not useless posts I'm saving others from wasting time trying to help like I have when the problem has already been solved.

    I have no desire to increase my post count(infact i could not care less for a number on a website), I am simply trying to help thread starters with there problems and help others avoid wasting time.

    Were the last two not responses to your fine self? I believe they were. It appears you have some problem with me trying to help people, the source of it remains unknown to me. If indeed it is your ridiculous fear that I am trying to increase my post count, relax, it is not.

    Still has some major issues between browsers though (probably a large fonts/120dpi thing)

    Ah, I see it:
    <!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/stdpage-NEW.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
    <!-- DW6 -->
    Code (markup):
    <adam>Well there's your problem</adam>
