When im looking for do follow sites, they always say pr4 or pr5 of whatever. Well what page rank for what keyword? How can they bring up a pagerank result without any keywords inputted?

Also, why do people prefer to comment on page rank 6 or 7 rather than a high page rank of 2 or 3

Also (last question) what is PR0? is that page rank of 1/first page

Please advise, been dieing to know all these answers for a long time.

    Thanks

Pagerank is ranked from zero to ten. Meaning that the PR10 is the highest. Its a quality meter that shows how reputable your site is "Or should bee in theory"

PageRank is a probability distribution used to represent the likelihood that a person randomly clicking on links will arrive at any particular page. PageRank can be calculated for collections of documents of any size. It is assumed in several research papers that the distribution is evenly divided between all documents in the collection at the beginning of the computational process. The PageRank computations require several passes, called "iterations", through the collection to adjust approximate PageRank values to more closely reflect the theoretical true value.

^^ Post above - copy and pasted directly from wikipedia without passing contact with a brain

PageRank isn't connected with showing for a particular keyword - you're confusing it with the position in serps (Search Engines Results Pages). PageRank is an evaluation of a page's 'authority', and is mostly increased with backlinks.

Does not matter , the page could be only with a heading and get pr 2-3 if the particulary page has some pr-3-4-5 link to it.

You are confused with these : Pagerank and Keyword Ranking! Back-links matters to Pagerank and keyword ranking is based on a websites relevance and popularity! You may sometimes find a website with no pagerank but ranking for some competitive keywords! The reason can be, Google might find that link to be popular and relevant by that time. This means that it needs to be quality informative link to rank in SERP's but remember such links will automatically disappear in search results! Also when you type for any keyword you can notice the keywords highlighted under Bold letters, so no matter the links with no inputs of your search terms appears! For consistent results keep focusing on the quality of your relevance and popularity!!
