Hi, I'm VERY new to this Amazon stuff...I don't understand how something in the site work....and for example...there is a phone worth 499$, sold only for 99$

which is 400 dollars less! I was searching for products to promote where i came across it... How come it is true? and how they are benifiting from it? is it used ? how can i know if the item is used or new?

Because you have to buy it with a service plan to get the $99 price, otherwise it is $499.

And of course because of massive bulk buying Amazon can often dictate low prices on a lot of products it sells.

    You get $0.

I sold one today. It's still worth it for the item count.

Pretty much. Either that or stuff that the seller is trying to get rid of and is on final markdown and being sold for a tax right off.

Some cables or USB accessories are $0.01, which are useful for those people who lost accessories.

They sell those low priced cables for .01 and make their profit off the high shipping cost you are charged.

No commission on shipping charges. However you get higher % if you sell more, so its all good.
