I have setup a campaign ..the campaign is active but the keyword is unactive ..I set the CPC cost is 0.05 ...Adwords recommend to increase the bid to 0.70 to activate my keyword ...i dont do that but I maintain the 0.05 ...then I check my campaign , the ads has been clicked for 8 times and CPC cost is 0.40 ...
how come my keywords is not active but the ads is being clicked ?

    please explain

Those might be getting clicks from content sites not from searches. You can turn content site clicks off.

Content sites are essentially websites that are showing google AdSense ads. This is differentiated from your add showing up during a search on Google.

    mydeutar,

go into campaign settings and unclick the content button. If you really want to be cautious unclick the network button at the same time.

Turn off your campaign and go check out the learning center. You'll save yourself a lot of aggravation...and $$$.
