I dont Think my Analytics code is tracking correctly

    i have my analytics code in my header using googles solution for a dynamic php site get about 7000 hits a day based on my site stats but google only counts about 1500. i have tried using a custom footer and even that didnt work. does anybody have a solution for this? thanks

    Uniques Hits vs not Unique? I believe, If someone browses 5 pages on your site.. that is only only google hit..
    Spiders or browsers with Javascript turned off?
    Pages that use a different header, or code inside code that doesn't get executed every time?
