    Here's a few ideas:

    - search your niche on blogsearch.google.com and see what topics others are blogging about
    - browse the bookstore magazine racks looking at magazine covers related to your niche
    - go to Yahoo Answers and search your niche to find what questions people are asking...answer those questions.

    You might find it worth a read. (There are even some macros in there that can help automate the searching for you!)
