I dont know if I like Wordpress, what are some good alternatives for blogging?

I installed WP, and I dont like how the website "feels" in a browser. It just feels a little heavy, inflexible (could not think of a better word here) etc, like there is that whole mechanism begind the scenes that loads the content etc. I looked on a site on Joomla and I had a better impression as far as this.

I know that WP is popular, there is a lot of plugins, tutorials, themes etc, but I just dont think this is the way I want to go (I want to have about 10 micro-niche affiliate blogs). I know tha WP is specifically for blogs, and thats what I want to do, and Joompla is more of a CMS etc, not necessarily for blogs. I know about other, less known CMSs too.

What are my best options here for blogging. Would it be better to stick to the WP in the long run, one way or another?

    Thank you.

wordpress may be very difficult to customize it if you established the free one: no plugin no thems to upload and many more
now we established a new service free blog hosting where you can create your blog with full control :plugin themes and many more and also you can put your ads code or affiliate links at blograins dot com , you can test it and it is free

Not to talk you into WordPress if you don't like it, but don't walk away thinking that WordPress is only for blogs.
I build WordPress sites for people all of the time and although they obviously have blogging capability, none of them are "blogs". They are websites.
You should look at some differing WordPress websites and not just base your opinion on one site and the fact that you installed it. That won't tell you much since you likely don't know how to do anything with it yet.

But on the other hand, I'm not here to talk you into anything. If you saw a Joomla site that you liked, then go with Joomla.
    Or Drupal.
There's plenty to choose from. Of course they aren't all free.

I don't know with some people, but Wordpress remains my favorite either for blog, CMS or even static pages.

Now blogger, has tweaked their blogging platform to new level, there is static page template readily available and a magazine template is also added. You will get more exposure from search engines if you are in blogger.
