I don't have a cresit card, can I still use PP??

I've been trying to get a credit card but almost all banks in our locale have stopped issuing them. So getting a credit card for myself is out of question. My friend had one though and he was a verified PP user. So I asked him to transfer funds through his credit card to my account. So I have some money in my account as PP credit but I'm still not able to use the money in there. I tried to buy a domain name at godaddy but everytime I go to the payment ,it takes me to the "add credit card" section.

Do I HAVE to have a credit card in order to buy something through PP or are there any other options like a virtual credit card or something?? any help would be really appreciated.

One can easily use a Paypal account even if it is not attached to a credit card. Such unverified accounts though would have maximum withdrawal/sending limit of $ 500 / month.

As regards making payment to GoDaddy, they accept funds only from a Credit card attached to a paypal account and so I am sorry, you will not be able to go ahead with your purchase at their site!

namecheap.com is the next best registrar to Godaddy and with Namecheap you do NOT need to have a CC attached to your paypal account to make a payment.

 

Why don't you try a VCC,there are lot of PP are using it.

You already mentiond virtual credit card....
Where are you from? You also can use ur debit card to verify ur paypal,As long as u are not from India..

 

Why don't you use your friend CC to buy the domain then pay your friend with cash?

 

Is it that tough to get an add-on credit card at your place..?

Anyways, people without credit card can also use PayPal - but there will be a limit on amount you send/withdraw.

 

Yes unverified account can be use but it's monthlypayment receive and sending limit is only $500

@mentos: The friend I talked about is a senior in my college and he'll be passing out in less than a month.. So I can use his card till then.. But I want a permenant solution

@mixke: It's not that tough.. But I'm a college student so won't allow me to have one.. and unfortunately asking my parents is not an option

VCC is considered illegal though. However, try getting a debit card that could accept paypal. If you have a bank account, its easy to get a debit card. Also known as ATM Card (w/ mastercard/visa logo)

 

According to rules VCC sales thread are not allowed on DP,
but We are allowed to link our webpages of VCC Sales to Our Signature.

@mfashraf: I have a debit card with VISA logo but paypal says the bank refused and transaction when it tried to verify the card as Moses8595 said probably Indian banks don't allow it..

No Indian debit cards with paypal verification,even if its International debit card.

Other option is to join some affiliates sites like copeac,get a payoneer card and use that to verify paypal.

 

indian debit cant can't verify paypal account. Only a real credit card issued by a bank.

Try to manage a VCC from someone who has CC.Then get varified.
