I thought I knew what CPA was, but now I'm not so sure. I've been to sites where there is valuable content, but before seeing it you have to fill out your email, zip, etc. Is that considered CPA? What about movie sites reviewing movies and then saying something like "hey if you want to see this movie, try a FREE netflix trial!" Then they link to a netflix trial page with their affiliate ID. Is that CPA? I just need to understand what it really is, because I'd like to try it out. I'm sick of promoting CB products.
Yes that is CPA. The netflix is an affiliate program. CPA is cost per action, where you get money from people who DO something like submit their information. While affiliates, like Netflix, you only get paid when they BUY something
people do surveys or things like that from your site then you get paid from spa lead and they get access to certain areas of yoru site. Nice thing cpa lead doesnt mind if you force people most sites hate that. I think cpa lead is good.
CPA means cost per action, so that means that the traffic you sent to a particular CPA offer performed an action like filling up of surveys or opting in, you get to earn money.
Ok, that's what I thought. I knew what it stood for, just not really WHAT it was (well, I had an idea, just wasn't 100% sure). So how can I make money by simply having people submit zip codes or email address's? I'm just so used to selling product that this concept doesn't make sense to me.
There are plenty of affiliate networks out there with hundreds of CPA offers each. www.affiliate.com www.copeac.com www.neverblueads.com Each time you send traffic to one of those offers and they complete the action (either signing up or purchasing something or submitting their email, etc) the affiliate network pays you. Most ZIP/Email offers pay $0.60-$1.20 per lead. And some CPA offers pay significantly more ($50+ per action in the legal/medical niche for example).
CPA = Cost Per Action. It can be anything from a basic email submit through to signing up for a free trial or getting a credit report. There's big money to be made if you think outside the box and twist methods. CPA networks generally pay via paypal or wire transfer on a net-7, net-15 or net-30 basis and vary between no minimum payout and, say, $50 minimum payout.
I agree with this, CPA is awesome. With a little demographic research and right product. You can earn tons of money from Facebook and etc.
