Hello How do i edit a post or delete a post i have made.. I am a new member with only 20 posts as of now.. should i increase the number of posts to get tht feature
You can use the Edit Button next to your posts. It looks like . You can edit a post only for 8 hours after posting it. The editing period expires after 8 hours and the button would disappear. However if you still need to edit a post, report your post using the report button() and tell a moderator to edit/delete it. You must provide a valid reason for editing or deletion of your posts while reporting it to the moderators. Read samantha pia's post below, i might be wrong about the fact that there is no post limit for being able to edit posts
newbies have to have 25 posts to get all features and it can take a few hours after post 25 for the cron job to run to enable everything once you have reached that limit.
@Disguised: 24 hours ? Where do you get that quote from ? Erm i just noticed that the first part in your quote says 24 hours while the second says 8 hours.
the 8 hours was stated twice in the post above mine, i thought there was no need to mention it again. ha ha yea right, i dont think that Shawn is that crazy about me. and i have been online and an admin of a site with 800,000 members. so i know a lot more than i like people to know.
As was stated above, you can only edit after 8 hours by hitting the report button. We all know you are one smart cookie.
