I have absolutely zero competition for my keywords on a campaign i just created. I set the max CPC to 24 cents, it says my keywords are each active, and yet it also says none of the adds are showing?!? When I hover over the icon next to the keyword, It says: Ad showing? No The keyword phrase doesn't currently trigger any of your ads. There are several possible reasons your ad isn't showing for this keyword, including: * You just added the keyword to your campaign. You may experience a short wait as your keyword goes through the review process. * Our system is experiencing a delay. For details on specific criteria for this test, click the following link. Details and recommendations » Quality Score: OK (7/10) Details and recommendations » Why would i need to increase the max CPC if there is absolutely no competition for these keywords? (i checked with adwords keyword tool). Also, according to the keywords tool, many of the keywords get 20k+ traffic monthly...so it's not an issue of nobody using those keywords... Can anyone shed some light on this, i rarely use AdWords (because of unexplainable like this). Is it possible that Google has assigned arbitrary minimal CPCs for the keywords even though there is no traffic?? that would be ridiculous in my opinion..
Is your account new? If so, your campaign is in a queue, awaiting review. Hey . . . That rhymes! Contact AdWords if you want to speed up the process.
Have you contacted Google to see if they can shed any light on the situation? I know they are not the best about supplying information but if you are having a legitimate non-user-created error they will take a look at it for you.
Maybe the system just had to update, happens with a lot of things, everything has an information buildup when it's a large server.
Anytime when this happens...contact Google. I experienced this a lot of times. It could be account review period. Even if they do not say it, the account is reviewed for a period of time after you created the ads. Usually the ads starts displaying almost in one minute on search engine, but not on the content network.
