I don't get how this happens...

    How is it that one click gets $3.09, but then 2 clicks on another website will only get 3c!

    Can someone clear this one up for me..

    It depends on how much the AdWords user is bidding.

    Advertizers bid on keywords. Some keywords have high competition (usually anything related to finance and health), others have very low competition (e.g. special hardware only produced by a few manufacturers). As an advertiser, bidding higher on keywords will make your ads being served more often then those of your competition.

    PS: It's rather pointless to blank out your CTR, if you disclose Page impressions and Clicks (CTR=Page impressions/Clicks).

    as the previous poster said some keywords / advertisers pay much more or less than others...
