One of my friends both kidneys failed last month. Doctor said someone has to donate a kidney or else he would not last long. As my blood group matched his, I took the step of donating one of my kidneys. Now, he is well. Only problem now is.. i cant play sports like I did before coz it might strain my single bean But I am happy that my friend lives to see another day Just sharing with you all. Cheers!
It takes a lot to give up part of yourself for someone else. Hopefully you can find something to replace sports, but I'm glad you are happy with your sacrifice. Your friend is lucky to have someone like you. Thanks for sharing.
That was extremely generous of you! Now your friend should act as your permanant butler, chauffeur, back scratcher, dog pooh picker-upper and personal assistant.
Holy crap, that is amazing! It's nice to hear there are still people in the world who would do such a selfless act. Congratulations to you and your friend.
Thats cool dude well done. But why can't you play sports? There have been professional athletes who have come back after having kidney failure and getting one kidney.
This is what one of my friends keeps on telling me: "I would give you my kidney" I hope it never comes to this though Well done buddy. You saved a life!
That's awesome of you. I agree with Rob. Anytime you ask him for something and he hestitates you can always begin with..."It's not like I'm asking you give up a kidney or something"
Not everybody gets a chance like this, but you got it and stoop up to it. Great to hear that, you did a very generous deed. My friends younger brother had his both kidneys failed as well, his mother donated him one of her kidneys, the doctors were telling that it lasts long if it is done from somebody in your blood relationship especially your mother.
That's really great! Bless you.... not everyone can that...you are a true friend and i am wishing you and your friend lots of luck and success... *very inspirational*
That was nice of you. Hope more and more people will be willing to give something to other without expecting much. Hoping the best for both of you.
