I do Not Understand

I just am posting this thread to understand better why I received a warning from this forum in regards to me spamming. I am apart of quite a few forums where I have had great success and no issues at all. I was honestly wanting to be nice and see if anyone wanted to advertise on my site for free, and if not that was fine it was just a way to help people get there products out there...not that anyone needs help but as a select few on this forum has helped me. Sorry to anyone who felt I wasn't right, however, knowing I am new to this and really just doing everything that I believe is a good idea am not sure why people have to be that way but so be it. Good Luck to everyone. Also to the comment of "everyone knows not to throw their link around", well I thought that is how you get people to know who you are and what your site is about as everyone does. Again sorry to any people here feeling offended or anything negative.

You received a warning because I reported your post and I suppose others did too.

If you want to do the advertising stuff, there is a proper forum for it.

If you want to show off your link, put it in your signature. You're new, so I'm not sure exactly when you get that privilege. When you're new, you have to contribute to the forum before you get the power to solicit on it. It's as simple as that. Contribute, provide information, be nice and help out. Maybe people will be more open.

Once you got an infraction, just get over it.

If you try to complain, you get more and more.

From my personal experience, I can say, that you should simply forget it.

Yeah, just forget it. DP is really strict but it's their forum and if you want to be apart of it, you gotta comply.

I'd advise you to PM a mod in future. Making threads to complain of infractions usually leaves you with more.

I wasn't complaining of an infraction, I just simply asked the question of why I had gotten one...which someone had explained. I am not being difficult I wasn't spamming anyone with my first post at all I am just used to other forums I guess. However, I just wanted to clear up that I was not complaining.

Advertising somewhere you aren't supposed to be advertising is spamming.

You spammed and you know you spammed. Don't act innocent. You essentially solicited the forum. It wasn't like "whoopsy doodle, I accidentally advertised I'm selling links on my site in the clickbank forum. Whoopsie doodle."

You knew you did it. Your agenda was to do it. You're a new user and you solicited very early on. That makes you a spammer.

Actually I will end this ridiculous thread (conversation) I did not mean to "spam" I guess I should have known the rules of this particular forum better than I did. No I am not trying to "ACT INNOCENT" FYI I am new to this but have caught on lately rather quickly. There are a few people that I have conversed with that was extremely friendly and helpful...and so just because I haven't posted a bunch of public message doesn't mean I haven't conversed with others here. I REPEAT I AM NEW I was offering not just for my site but to help others as well...AS I WOULD BE ADVERTISING FOR OTHERS as isn't everyone always looking for advertisment places? I do not wish to be apart of this particular forum..however there are a few very smart, nice and helpful people here and to you all thanks very much...and for the ones that are smart and helpful that I didn't get to speak to good luck with everything. I have found success in a few other places. My goodness have people been quick to jump on me about this. Again I AM SORRY TO ALL and respectively give my apologies.

When you want to add your link, put it in the signature. You cant write an affiliate link in your post or thread.
