I find it unfair. A person with good budget is most seccsseeful that SEO optimiser with good brain. But life is life Can you recommend me where I can buy serious links? Whar about text-link-ads.com. I have heard they are overcharge and webs are not good quality. What do you think
If you find a site you like and want to buy a link on it, you could always see if they have a Scratchback widget and buy from them.
I thnik direct buying is effective rather than going for services like text-link-ads. It gives you full control over what you want.
It's pretty much the same way in the real life. If you don't have the money you can't start and run a successful business. I'm sure you will find some nice links here: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 Google hates TLA so I wouldn't recommend them...
You may try to buy serious links in the Buy, Sell, Trade section here. I am sure if you ask for links, many people will come to you for link sale.
I do understand the 'not wanting to buy links' because it does feel kind of like cheating...I've found the best way to get links is to 'earn' them...write a good article about a service you like (preferably something in your niche), and send an email to the admin of that service, explain that you like the service, so much in fact that you wrote a little review and wanted them to see it. Sometimes, they will be kind enough to link back to your article, ESPECIALLY if they have a 'media' section on their site (where they post links to stuff about them). Scratchback is a 'tip jar' for your site...people can tip you (you get to set the price) and they get a link. You can also buy links from someone with this tool (widget) on their site. Scratchback dot com has lots of information about it. I use it. It's a good service.
Unless your site is truly unique, helpful or reputable, making progress/money is difficult without spending money.
you are right. i have seen sites in most competitive niche being ranked on the top because they pour money into link building like its never ending. people with healthy budget can get their site ranked high no matter what the niche is. however, its also important to know where you are buying links from. if you buy links from wrong person/sites, then its gonna do more harm than good
My site is not really all that helpful (heh), and the topics I blog about have all been covered, but what makes it unique is that it's my site. I have a budget of $0. Literally. I have spent money, but seriously only about 14 bucks on my whole site. I don't get tons of traffic, and I don't rake in cash hand over fist. But I do make money with my site. The key for me has been to set small goals ($500 this year) so that 1) I can easily reach it without too much effort and 2) when I get paid a whopping $2.00 at a time, I can keep myself motivated. It's easy to find ways to make money online. But it takes brains to do it starting from absolutely nothing. Oh, and the computer I use was scavenged. What does that prove? That it CAN be done. I break the 'rules of building a good niche blog'. Why? It's my site and I can. And I still can get paid.
here's the best way to buy links. in google search box type this intext:"key term" inurl:blog|wordpress|blogspot|blogger now you have thousands-millions of blogs with your key term already embedded in the text...now start writing letters.
