    IE8 is well in production. It actually renders the CSS acid test perfectly, something never achieved by other browsers before.

    IE will often dominate the market. It comes with your OS, and few normal web surfers are even aware that other browsers exist.

    Happy that they have something up their sleeve. I admire all of Microsoft's products (except Vista) but lately I'm getting to be an Apple fan. Is this contagious? :D

    I was surprised just like you about the capabilities of Safari. I tried a range of different internet applications on my new Mac, however the one that works best is the Safari. It has features that are easy to find and use and I rarely get any crashing from it.

    Other plus sides for me with safari are when I download something on Safari, it automatically downloads the file, without asking if I want to open/save the file.

    People do not use Safari much, because not many know about it to be honest, more people should give it a try and there will be more adopters using it. For example I just knew about Internet Explorer, every basic non-webmaster did, not as much with other internet applications. Firefox is known by quite a lot of people now as well though. Safari is not something every average internet user knows about though.

    I used to be a Microsoft fan, always buying there computers, however I tried the Mac, have the iPod, love Safari, I am a Mac fan as well now :p! No wonder the Apple sales are increasing so much, people are starting to see the real potential in what they have to offer.

    FireFox 3 is the best browser of all.. there might be any other confliction which caused it to crash.. working fine with every type of website on my side for 2 years now..

    I did this two days ago when my firefox contracted the vundo virus, it doesn't affect safari! I simply loved it them and continued to use it.

    Man, I hope that Voodoo virus isn't in my computer! I just re-installed the whole thing! :D

    I have upgraded to the FF3 on the day of its launch and there was no problem at all till this day. I am happy with it and there is no need to search for an alternative :)

    I agree. I starting using opera a few months ago and it is great! The only problem is that I have Netflix and you need IE to watch instant movies.

    Safari is faster than FF2.
    FF3 is worst than Safari.
    FF2 has more feature than Safari.

    I hope now you can understand how confused for me to choose which one is better
    between FF2 or Safari :)
    but for sure, FF3 SUCKS!
