I disappeared from google...

So if I go to my google webmaster central, it says I am #9 for the term "farm town", but oddly, my traffic dropped dramatically today, and the main reason looks like I am getting less than half from google as I was. I had previously been on the front page (depending on how it displays) if you search "farm town" but now I am not even in the top 10 pages of results for farm town.

Any ideas what the heck happened? What can I do?

    thanks all!

Is is a repost from a wrong category.
    thanks!

I have been updating at least once a day, sometimes 3 or 4 times. I was searching around, and it doesn't seem like I am the only one this happened to. It's just strange...

What's the URL of the site?

302 redirect from one domain (farmtown*dot*com), which has 5 backlinks to another domain (rt1.slashkey*dot*com) that has 4 backlinks. And the destination site is actually outranked by (slashkey*dot*com) which has 16 backlinks.

Which of these 3 URLs do you want to rank? You have duplicate content issues which hurts your ranks and wastes the SE bots crawling the pages.

Soooo weird, I am gone again. Is this normal for pages to disappear like this for your top keyword? Hopefully I show up again like last time.

One good thing is my adsense revenue has tripled today....

You're not buying backlinks right? Google can punish you for that kind of thing

If your site is any less then 1 year old, its perfectly normal for sites to "float" around in the results pages. I have seen my own personal sites go from page 1 and 2 - to past page 60 overnight. In a couple of weeks they are back on pages 1, 2 and 3.

In other words, dont worry about it. Floating happens and there is nothing you can do about it.

Your domain has not been removed... as you can see here if the previous poster had taken the time to read the post and check out your URL. You are not being penalized and have not been banned.

What you're seeing is perfectly normal... Your domain was registered 6/11/2009 so it likely has not been live more than a week or two. I'll bet you've only been getting traffic from the search engines for a few days... maybe a week or so. What you're experiencing is called the "Google Honeymoon". I'll explain it w/ an excerpt from another post I've made here (have explained this countless times):

I am starting to think, at least with a blogging platform like Wordpress that it really matters what the latest posts you put up contain. I rearranged my posts and put the most keyword heavy post back first and I am back on the frontpage.
Am I wayyy off base on this one?
