Erm... I don't use that kind of desktop software, but I wouldn't like ads on them if I was. Eww.. Always hated that.

I'm 99.9% sure putting AdSense in any kind of program is a TOS violation

I wonder to what extent this is applicable.

As I just found out yesterday the google search tool in firefox is earning firefox some crazy ammount per month.

Isnt that a form of adsense in an application?

I think it would be a case of contacting google on this one, if you were thinking about it anyhow.

Most likely Google is partnering with someone like FireFox. I am sure that they are making a large amount of money from it also.

I started this thread because i was thinking same...
But paltalk is big company and if its violation of TOS then google can easily detect it and ban them.

    Maybe they are Adsense publishers?

Um, yes, that seems readily obvious that they are publishers. :) The point is, is this allowed? In the case of Firefox and Google, that's no surprise, as the two have partnered up on varous other endeavors (Firefox browser referrals in particular). But if Paltalk is big enough, I'm sure it's a corporate partnership thing.
