I did lots of directory submission and my site url came on 1st page ranking 2nd

I was so happy to see my results came on 2nd rank of G after doing lots of directory submission.

Now it went back to 2nd page ranking 9th. Shall I keep submit my url to directories?

Try and switch it up a bit find some related blogs to comment on.

 

Everyday i submit to at least 200 directories. I'll try my best... and update my site url when it comes on top once again......thanks.......

 

How come you considered that only Directory Submissions will help you in SERP improvement. If you want to improve in SERP then concentrate on the quality of the content. Also ensure that your content isn't spinned anywhere.

Sir, don't worry, this is not new fact, now stop submission work and see next week, your website will walk along same road. I have faced these type problems, its general. Google count back link, your competitors fix back link (it means they are not submitting now and your website is increasing back links continue because you are submitting in directories so G waiting count all back links and after confirming, G will give you perfect rank). understand dear.

 

Yes I get approval because I add their links to my site, very fast approval.

 

Thanks a lot. Today I submitted to more than 500 sites of highly paged ranked but it took me at least 7 to 8hrs. I checked my results in search engine. Now it came in page no 3 ranking 1. I'll wait for one week if no changes then I'll nuke my url.

 

You should be more careful, Google is now against article directories submission...you could be penalized at the next Google update....focus on other SEO methods as well....I guess you are using AMR for submission right?

RamCity told right, because quality content is a best thing for get keywords ranking so If you want to improve your keyword position in SERP's then you must concentrate on the quality of the content. Make sure content should not be copied or spinned otherwise you may lost your current keyword position.

 

if you have quality content then the directories gives approval to your link...
