I envy your patience.
I check almost once a day. Not that I'm getting in thousands (if so I would engage a Secretary) but I love to see the increase and the comfort that my account is still active and also which channels need fine tuning. By decreasing ads I would be able to minimise those ads coming from MFAs (cheap ads).

 

I agree. I still haven't checked my Adsense stats yet. Maybe I will start checking them every Friday starting with this Friday. I like to see big numbers too. My mood seemed to be directly connected to my Adsense earnings for that day: if I earned big I was in a great mood and vice versa. I also began to develop a fine tremor in my hands. Most notably whenever I logged into Adsense. That's when I knew it was time to quit cold turkey.

 

There's really nothing wrong with checking your stats every day. The problem is when people take any tiny change or discrepancy in the stats and blow it up into a big thing and start panicking for no reason. Now you're just using up energy better spent on your sites.

 

Ya my thoughts are similar to jackburton's, if you treat your site as a job there's really nothing wrong with checking your adsense revenue daily.

It's not like a sin or anything, and you burn an eternal damnation in hell if you do.

Lol. You both may be right. Maybe I'll check once a day but not 3-5 times like I did before I kicked my habit.
