Get a profile page going on yourself: Hobbies, married, single, what you do for a living, put up your coolest CD cover... Then start making friends. Say hello to other members, comment on their profile pages.... It starts there.
make an interesting well designed profile. Add as many unsigned bands etc you can find, display your covers and offers, post bulletins letting them know, send messages to the bands.
