I have two google accounts,, with different person names. One is with my name and the other is my father name. Now, I am using only google ads whihc are in my account on my site. I am not using account which is with my father name. And even I would like to cancel the account which is with my father name... Please give me suggestions regarding this.
You could write to google and request that the account be canceled, but I personally have more than one account (different business accounts) and google has no problem with it because I made sure I told them about it before I created them since I check stats from the same IP. If you aren't using the other account, why do anything about it?
Actually, I don't even see why they ask you to remove all the code from your pages. If you kept it there, they would simply benefit from it and it wouldn't cost them anything
I wonder, why are you willing to cancel additional account??? Are you having troubles to develop more resources of your own???
What are the benefits of having 2 accounts? Is it just in case 1 gets cancelled? If you have 2 accounts, won't you just have to wait longer to get to your $100 payout? Amanda - new to the forum, and just starting to understand the scope of AdSense.
If you are having problems to get your 100$, then you definitely do not need 2 accounts. As for me, 2 account is such a small insurance that everything I've built will not be destroyed in one moment when google consideres that something is wrong on one of my sites.
Can 2 people in the same house, sharing the same computer, have 2 AS accounts? One for me, one for hubby? They would have to have seperate websites, I'm sure; we couldn't both be promoting the same pages or even the same domain name. But if we each have a website, we could have 2 accounts. but we could never, ever click on each others ads!! It could become a competion - I got more clicks than you LOL. Amanda
Sure. Simple example - a guy and his brother are both teaching in university and sharing the same pc at home, and they both have their own web sites and trying to make some additional money while being students. Or, another example, some large office behind some non-transparent firewall with single outer IP, and several workers in that office are trying to make some additional profit with adsense. I do not think there should be a problem for 2 accounts from the same IP.
