I have a site: mypeugeot308.com it is PR3 and I make a decent adsense amount with 80-100 or so uniques a day from the keyword "peogeot 308" as I come up number 1 in google.com search results. However since the "peogeot 308" is not sold in the US there is only 1900 or so searches a month for it on google.com I just made a french version of the site and I want to rank on the first page of google.fr as it has 90-110k searches for "peugeot 308" a month... What is the best method to do this.
i suggest do some work in fr related sites for back link and create pages in fr lanugage and optimize
French domain name and content in French would be the logical things to get listed in google fr along with a good number of back-links from French sites. You may also find going into google webmaster tools and setting your geo location will help, although that can also limit how you show on the main google.com as i have found out.
