I colored my Adsense ads really really close to my website, against TOS?

Yeah so I have a black web page, all black and white text + white links. Now, I made my google Adsense Title white (so it's a white link title), and everything else black, except for the URL + Text (you can't make them black or they turn white), for those, I made them Super duper duper close to black. As close to black as possible without having the script turn them back to white. Is this against TOS? I couldn't find it anywhere on Adsense policies.

It is TOS-compliant to use whatever colors the automatic ad creation tool will let you use.

Editing the ad code directly is not TOS-compliant -- even if you are making the same changes that the automatic ad creation tool would make!

    Silly Google.

Just don't make your ads red or blue, because then google may think you prefer yahoo or msn..

Is this really true? I usually only create the initial ads size/shape using the ad tool, then modify the colors manually in the code on my site. I've been doing this for a long time, but you are saying this is not allowed??!

No you can't do that, you have to copy and paste directly from the google code box without modification. What if you chose a color that G doesn't have in their pallette?

Odd, I haven't had any problems yet with the proper colors coming up. I think I need to go check my codes now.

It works perfectly; it's just against Google's silly little rules.

well adsense support all colors, so you can basicly use any color from #000000 to $FFFFFF and it'll work.

You are allowed to do that by the way. The automatic creation tool allows you to type in custom hexadecimal color codes anyway so what you're doing is completely fine. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as long as you are altering the code in the same way the Google "generator" would (e.g. to save time), you won't run into any problems.

Agreed. You can do that but, must be very careful. I recommed rather not to do it.

    First, read this:
Clearly, you are in violation of the ToS.

However, if you don't screw up, you will never get caught.
