I clicked on my ad by accident. :(

    I clicked on my ad once at school today on accident. I was logged on to my user name so im kinda paranoid. what are the chances of them finding out?

    I assume it's adsense ? In general, one click certainly won't hurt, regular clicks would.

    it was an affiliate, not adsense. will they find out since I was on a different ip at school?

    not likely they'll notice anything, much less that YOU were the one that clicked it from a different location. And like Scripter said, one click is not a big deal.

    they didnt pay for the click either. does that mean their on to me and their gonna drop the ban hammer? :(

    Theres no way they could find out that it was you.

    A) You have a different IP

    B) They can't see your username on the PC (And even if they could there are hundreds of thousands of people with the same first/last names.

    C) They don't care about 1 click.

    If it wasnt AdSense and it wasnt a pay per click affiliate they will not care.

    if they want thy can find you but probably they wont spend time for 1 click, they have thousands of user and several employye. Who cares about one small click ($0,01 or $0,5) please relax. At worst condition (i think it wont happen) they will ban you and you wil find another affiliate

    If its affiliate ad on CPA rather than CPC, I can't see why they would care.

    i no this person who click on there ads a couple times, just to see what sites it takes them to .. he is still safe .. so 1 click i wudnt worry about

    I've heard adsense can go crazy after a few times but I totally agree with the others here and you should be fine, just be careful not to do it repeatedly. Especially, if it's CPA you'll be totally fine.
