maybe its because its a affiliate template and have duplicate content

I have used seopenalty several times to check if site has some penalty. This tool is accurate as it said, but you should be noted on this

- If your site is new and has not over 1 year old : Your site is likely to be reported as "High Penalty" but it is not actually. It is most likely a sandbox effect in place.

- If your site has over 1 year old : Your site is consider as aged site. If your site has being reported as "High Penalty" then you have being filtered somehow. Most of sites that has aged but a poor in ranking are likely to be penalized somehow.

How does it calculate the penalty ? What do they exactly understand under penalty ?
