but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.

We'll restore your access as quickly as possible, so try again soon. In the meantime, if you suspect that your computer or network has been infected, you might want to run a virus checker or spyware remover to make sure that your systems are free of viruses and other spurious software.

If you're continually receiving this error, you may be able to resolve the problem by deleting your Google cookie and revisiting Google. For browser-specific instructions, please consult your browser's online support center.

If your entire network is affected, more information is available in the Google Web Search Help Center.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and hope we'll see you again on Google.

Have you got any plugins like seo quake installed? I've seen many people mention this plugin with relation to the problem your describing.

If its not that, i have no idea.

Hope you get it sorted soon though

    Best of luck

i got this message few times when i search from my office. my office pc is under proxy, and firewall that might be the reason. Proxy servers can be used to filter requests. If you browes internet from your office, your company might use a proxy server to prevent its employees from accessing a specific set of Web sites.

    Try disabling seo quake.

People have said int he past it makes too many requests or something else which to be honest. I don't understand.

But if you try and disable it and give it a few moments. You may find that it works again.
Check around these forums, lots of people have had similiar problems

Just go to a free proxy site and go to Google through that for now. Reset your modem to try and give it a new IP address. SEO Quake queries to see each sites PR, backlinks, how many site pages are index all with Google, Yahoo and MSN. Not to mention the site age, IP address, alexa rank...it does this for all 10 sites on each results page. To many queries to fast will give you that error message, even if Google hits you with there captcha and you fill it in correctly. Normally it only lasts for 24 hours.
