I can't stop buying domains!

This is a fine addiction. I view it like real estate. In fact, real legitimate businesses have started investing in domain name just like real estate. I prime example of this is Internet REIT. The REIT stands for Real Estate Investment Trust. You can submit your domains to them and based on the quality of your portfolio they may purchase it. "http://internetreit.com/"

 

I have a total of 7 looking to buy 3 more 3 of the name i have now I have big plans for...

 

You never know ...

 

I currently own only 2, but I'm looking to buy more. What I dont want to do is buy them without developing them. So atm I'm trying to think about some stuff to develop.

 

oops, just been to godaddy and bagged two more 'little gems'. takes me past 30 .coms now! but it's a harmless enough pastime and more fun than watching tv.

 

Over the past month I bought about 20 domains, only 1 has actually been put to use...

I think I have about 300 domains right now, and out of them only about 60 are setup and doing something lol.

 

I bought a load of domains and didn't touch a single one.

They all recently expired after 2 years!

I always found other things to do.

So, unless you really intend to develop them into sites, park them or sell them; I suggest hypnotherapy to cure you of your domain-buying addiction.

Hmmmm, maybe I should start an Internet Addiction clinic.

I would make a fortune and be worshipped by spouses all over the world.

List them for sale if you're not going to use them.

 

I never said I wasn't going to use them, I just haven't had the time yet I probably will end up selling some off soon though.

I don't do my services for free it requires haveing yahoo or google. It also cost $250.00. This also has a guarntee if you have a traffic name getting 100 uniques a day. I can make you atleast $5-$10 a day.

 

I'm new to understanding the web.. had no idea about having to buy a domain name. I just recieved a letter from
Web Listings inc. wanting me to pay $85. I'm just moving around learning on google changing my google to my personal name.. I guess when changing my google to my personal name it was recqonized on the web. Some how a letter was mailed to me a few days ago from Web Listings inc.. I thought nothing of it.. Today i ran across this site and read a thread about a scam that is from same web listings inc.. same address 1623 Miltary Rd #926 niagra fallsa ny 14304 1745 .... Really like to hear if this is a scam.. I'm not sending $85. bucks... If i have to pay for a special Domain name i'll do so, but the right and honest way..

Thanks for the quick response..... can you be more specific about how you can make make it happen for me, I'm trying to think of some quick way to make some money... I'm all about starting small growing into a mix
prefur to have some understanding to ignore scams. I'm thinking of doing my thing on ebay or amazon. It's going to take a minute to establish.... Got to learn and wk my way threw..

Your problem is related to mathematics. You are not able to understand the difference between quality and quantity. You may buy thousands of crap domains or sites just because of they are cheap and easy to buy. But at the end of the game, you will understand that it is same with buying thousands of $5 lottery tickets. A few of them can win $50, $100, $500. But those few lucky tickets among thousands of losers can never let you play this dangerous game till forever. I think you are just gambling with domains. That's why you call it as "habit"

similar situation with me. kidda addictive

 

what I do now is to decide not more than 3 focused pallets/theme. And I build domains around these themes, so whatever I do for each domain, I can recycled certain material, as well as creating related (keyword) inter-links amongst them.
