What other ones have you found jl255 I can give them a comparison and come up with a results sheet of what does what.
hey jl255; I personally haven't used mysticmedia, knowing his reputation it is probably a good little tool, but let me give you a few of the neat features I think are great with Link Snitch which you can share with your buddies: -Link Snitch lets you organize your links based on domain and type -Link Snitch can automatically check your links daily using a stealth approach (checks at random time intervals with different user agents and IPs.) -Link Snitch notifies you via email when a link or link attributes (eg:has changed to rel=nofollow) has being tampered with. -Link Snitch can detect cloaking and sneaky redirects. -Link Snitch can differentiate between positives and false positives, for example if the site is unreachable (broken connection) or the server is experiencing errors (Internal 500 errors) or the site has removed your link -Link Snitch allows you to do mass imports of spreadsheets you may currently have or imports from other programs -Link Snitch has a nice dashboard that graphically displays the status for your entire links. eg: which links are up, which are reporting errors, which are reporting failures, which are pending. -Link Snitch has support for keyword tag field that lets you tag your links with what ever tag you want, eg: date purchased, date it expires, email of linker, niche type, -Link Snitch has a comprehensive search and filtering mechanism that lets you drill down to view or modify the specifics of your links, eg: i want to see all 1-way sponsored and paid links that expire on Jun 30, 2007 that i'm paying $50 or more for that are related to golf and hockey. -Link Snitch is designed as a service not as a PC application, which means the service runs 24x7 on their servers and you don't have to worry about leaving your computer on, or worry about upgrades and bug fixes when they are made available. -Link Snitch has a very intuitive interface which is great for newbs and pros. -Link Snitch has a free but fully functional version for those just requiring to monitor a few links. hope this helps!
Just an FYI: the frontpage and site are currently getting design for launch. The product launched several weeks ago as a closed beta so the look and the feel of the software is no where near what you see on the current front page. LaCabra thanks for the information. As you can tell some users are very passionate about the service. I invite all to try the free service and give me your feedback. thanks,
