    I don't think you need any religious practices to write good english. Just believe in yourself. You may be pretty bad the first few times but you will improve eventually.I had a friend from Spain, he could barely speak english but he is one of the gurus now and he can speak english as fluently as us.

    Get a copy of E.B. White's "The Elements of Style." It remains the quintessential guide for writing well in English. Should be available online or at any library, for free. Ask the librarian.
