been a member since 2006 and i know i've posted to 'buy, sell, or trade' before but i tried today and can not. i read the qualifications and i think i meet them.
You should have posted this in the support section. Do you know if you have three likes from three different established members? 4 likes should be enough unless they are from the same person or two.
It could be that you just need to wait for an hourly cron job to run and upgrade you if you haven't been here for a few years.
Which sub-forum of BST are you trying to post in? Some sub-forums such as link sales, link exchange require premium membership. Some such as Cheap Stuff and Scripts etc are deprecated and nobody can post in them, there's normally a big notice at the top of the page telling you if this is the case.
I realized that I have the same problem. I registered to this forum to buy a website but was not able to post my intention in the marketplace section. Maybe the people here will like me quickly as I have $$$ to spend Am I offering bribe? Probably not. No, I don't think so. It's better to find another forum.
Well if you have $$$ to spend why not spend $25 of it on premium membership so you can post your buying thread?
I have just looked at "premium membership" thing. It directs me to Paypal payment page. Paypal is not available here. You may think how will I pay if I buy a website? I would pay via escrow. I hope I answered your question. I found better forums than this greedy forum. I am a new user and was directed to a Paypal payment page just to post what type of websites I want to buy.
You don't need premium membership or to buy anything in order to purchase a website here. Just look here: https://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/sites
I looked at there before signed up. I liked the search function on the right sidebar. But the listings are old, not monitored. For instance I found this website: https://forums.digitalpoint.com/threads/10-years-links-from-327-domains.2774590/ But it is not an active listing. The owner requested to get it removed but nobody has done something. There are more dead listings like that. The listings here are not very useful for a buyer. Search functionality is a good thing to save time but it ends up with dead listings. I thought if become member, I can create a topic to describe what type of website I want to buy, how and how much will I pay to buy a website. But I couldn't post anything. I signed up for nothing, waste of time. If I knew I wouldn't sign up.
The seller can remove any listing they want. If they don't remove a listing, unfortunately we aren't going to know better than they would if they are still selling it. It's the seller's responsibility ultimately as we don't contact them repeatedly to ask if they are still selling something.
@Tanmoy Debnath Buy premium membership Participate in the forum and get access for free Find someone selling content and buy from them
Nobody tries to sell a website for longer than 1 year. Also after 1 year traffic and revenue stats change and the asking price will change accordingly. Even if the seller is still willing to sell 1+ year old thread don't show valid data. I would feel like moron to post a reply to a 1+ years old thread. Those threads are actually dead. 1 year expiration must be set. After a sales thread expires the thread should be invisible and to activate seller has to do something manually and has to make sure and confirm if the price and stats are up to date. This is just my opinion. No offense intended.
