Hey, I just read in the Terms that you can have a casino on your site, is this true? What if its not real gambling, but a casino game for fun? Thanks

Read the banned from Adsense posts on this forum. As I remember a member had a site discussing the aspects of poker and was banned. It is not worth the risk as sercan said.

Tis a bit annoying that, wanted to make a few flash gambling games, not proper gambling but for fun like yourself.

    Try emailing google about it.

I did, and it was discussed in another thread. Google was, as usual, a bit evasive.

The conclusion I came to was that I should not.

The site was to be a content site about free prizes and cash games, some of which were casino and lottery like, and a casino game tournament. I would get a share of ads to sell on the sites I was linking to, an affiliate payment if the advertiser was referred to them by me, plus other space I could use. Running the content thru the digitalpoint adsense sandbox, it brought ads about similar sites.

I gave them the front page content, links and all, and was discouraged by them from running adsense on my site.

I would try it anyway because in my own opinion, if there is no money coming out of the player's pocket, it is not gambling. Even more so if there is nothing but fun or education to be had.

But the only way I would take that risk is if I set it up with it's own adsense account, and I don't think I am going to go through the trouble. It would probably not be approved on its own, but if it were, it would be a validation of the right to run them.

I haven't developed it yet, nor taken the time to explore other avenues.
