    No matter what I do...

I can block every other ad no problem-- I just add it to my adsense list of ads that I do not want to appear.

However, no matter what I do -- I cannot get this one ad to stop appearing on all my pages.

    jackgetsbig.com

    I give up.... any ideas?

    thanks

Maybe they use some other domain on godaddy to redirect to main site

right click on the ad, properties it , and look at the URL it is from ...
Alot of times, the URL listed on the google ads is different from the one the properties will show.
Thats the one you need to filter

This is DP. Can't assume anything here.

What's the url of your site? Maybe we can see what the issue is if they're using a different url and redirecting.

In filter, how specifically do you have the line?

    much thanks!

I was trying to figure out a way to check the url without having to keep clicking on the ads.

Will try that and report back.

lol, I know what you mean!

I believe it must be a redirect.

In the filter I have it every way I can think of.

    www.jackgetsbig.com
    jackgetsbig.com

and every version and misspellings of each word.

I did catch a redirect and even listed that in the filter as well.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Will update when the ad appears again.

    Much appreciated and repped

That's all you need to block the site. The problem may be because you're adding in the other ones. When you visit the Filter page, the examples along the top show that just the domain will remove all subdomains and subdirectories.

Again, I ask for the url of your site. We may see something within the advert that you;re missing. (ie the redirections or misspellings previously mentioned.)

Gotta love the post count padding that goes on around here.

i had the same problem with one AD.
The fastest way to stop it was to click on it and ban that url.
The REAL url was not the one written on the ad.
There was some kind of redirect...

As noted previously, this is what you need in the filter to block anything from the domain:

    Hope this helps,
